The CD-5 is a high quality, compact CD player that also offers a PSU upgrade.

The first thing you'll notice about the CD-5 is the lack of controls on the front fascia, only a small screen. This is not only for informational purposes, it is also used to set up and control the CD-5. All settings can all easily be changed by highlighting the relevant info with two touches. The PH-5 can be powered on and off by an extended touch of the screen.​​

The CD-5 offers both unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR analogue outputs, with coaxial and optical digital inputs. A USB-C provides for servicing.​

A DIN socket is provided for a dedicated PSU upgrade.

The optional dual transformer PSU-10 linear power supply can be added as an upgrade option, designed to provide a more stable, higher quality supply to the CD-5 and filter out and reject any potential noise using its dual-choke inductive filter.​
